Collin is a slave in the mines beneath the City of Mal. He's all but given up on life, and ever finding his brother. There is no use trying to escape, so he drifts through each day like a mindless laborer. His only hope may be to somehow bargain his way out of slavery.
Bliss accepts her destiny as queen of the northern kingdom of Kromenhome. Once she learns of the southern armies' plot to storm Anistemia, she rallies her people to their aid. When she's confronted and reminded that she's just the queen, and not fit to lead men, she shows her doubters how she was never meant to follow.
In the final chapter of The Anistemi Trilogy, the city's heroes must find their way back home and unite to defend what may be the only good left in the fallen world.
