Publisher's Summary

Kindle publishing doesn't have to mean $50 royalty checks and hours spent updating countless Facebook pages all so that a couple hundred people may or may not grab a free copy of your book.

Kindle publishing can actually be the most magical thing of all to writers: the chance to have a lucrative self publishing career doing the thing they love most: writing words down. We couldn't have said any of this 10 years ago. Ten years ago, the New York traditional publishers owned the gate...and the gatekeepers...and the land surrounding the gatekeeper.

But now...as long as you have a great kindle ebook cover (and not one that looks like a 14-year-old with a bootleg copy of Photoshop made it...and you write a decent (and passionate) book then your self published book will look EXACTLY the same as a Stephen King novel.

Kindle publishing levels the playing field.

Good luck with your Kindle publishing exploits!

You'll Need the Kindle Version, too.

The title is a bit misleading. The nuts and bolts of putting your e-book in Amazon's Kindle store-are found in "How to Write a Book that Doesn't Suck and Will Actually Sell," not here. A better title would be, "How to Make Your Kindle Publications Best Sellers.

This book is packed full of advertising strategies I never would have known. It also is full of great information, but an audio book is the worst way to receive that information because it contains so many long website addresses. I would have to press pause and write them down if I didn't buy the Kindle edition as a companion.

Concise book on promoting and selling Kindle Books

What did you love best about Kindle Publishing Made (Stupidly) Easy?

I finished listening to the book "Kindle Publishing Made (Stupidly) Simple”, and want to say that the tips offered in the book are what I needed to get started with Kindle publishing. I’m a software developer by trade, but I love the history of the Great Depression and WWII which I am currently writing a niche book on my hometown during that period in history.

As someone who has worked on the “world wide web” from 1996, everything the book talked about for book and site promotion is spot on as it pertains to Google and SEO. I firmly believe that the promotional tips will make a world of difference when I’m finished with my book.

Great Read

The book delivers facts with humor but in a way that you get the point. This is the second book like this I read and they are all pointing to the same truths but each book has its own take on it.

Indies Listen Up!

Great guide to self publishing. Clear concise no fluff. Rogan makes it doable for the average person with little or no knowledge about promotion. Definitely worth it

Excellent guide for Kindle Publishing

I'm helping my wife publish her first novel, "ORPHAN MOON" in Kindle format on Amazon (to be released next week), and this has been an invaluable guide. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about shelf publishing.

So Helpful!

This book really does live up to its title. It methodically takes you through all the steps of publishing on Kindle, with a friendly tone and tons of useful tips. Narrator Greg Zarcone does a great job. My only complaint is that the chapter numbers are not accurate and that there are no chapter titles listed, so you can't easily go back for reference.
