Publisher's summary

The world falls into chaos. Earth is integrated into the multiversal System. And all Trace has is a gun.

Trace Taylor was at a shooting range when the world was kidnapped by the alien species called the ‘Esvol’ to begin humanity's integration with the System. Each individual person is given a femtochip implant and a class to fend for themselves before being sent back to Earth.

Once Trace returns, she finds that the planet too is left scarred by this encounter. Faced with monsters, dungeons, an annoying AI, and a lot of insane idiots, how will Trace come to survive this newly-changed planet?

35% Stats repeated over and over and over

I couldn't get past the fact that sooooooo much time is spent listening to the AI ramble on about stats... then the MC seems like a 12 year old throwing a tantrum half the time and a weird idea of what's ok and what's not... it's ok to not kill a bunch of rapist and murderers but it's ok to shot out the knee caps in a post-apocalyptic Era so they have to child feed someone while trying to grow food...

2.5 stars. Missing drive.

It started out on decent footing.

Yes the stat read was annoying and seemed meaningless. At no point did a stat upgrade translate into real world progress for the reader.

The MC has no drive. Which is lazy cool. But also the story has no drive. No real direction with any haste.

Not worth your time

This book is not fun. The characters are not fun. The MC is indecisive, whines, and really doesn't want to progress. So, I really do not understand the positive ratiings. The narrator is pitchy and does a horrible AI voice. Dialog is weak.

Just finished chapter 12 and there is no real story line, It feels contrived and forced.
