The App That Solved a Murder - The Dark World of Randonautica & Pokémon GO

How can an app solve a murder?

When a gang of teenagers embarked on what they thought would be a fun adventure, they didn't realise their lives would be profoundly changed forever. In the height of the 2020 lockdown, people became obsessed with an app called Randonautica. It promised users a randomly generated adventure and it delivered. But for some people, that journey would turn into a nightmare.

But Randonautica wasn't the first app which helped people stumble across some awful things, back in 2016, there was Pokemon Go! Was this app just as bad or was it even worse?

Diving Down the rabbit hole this week, Nikki takes us back to the weight loss trend that swept the 2010’s - Skechers Shape-Ups and all the legal issues and scandal that came with a pair of trainers that claimed to do so much. Cheryl tells all of her finds in a Welsh Chip Shop & falls down the rabbit hole of regional chippy tea menu items.

WELCOME TO SEASON FIVE OF KILLERS, CULTS & QUEENS!

Cheryl and Nikki are reunited ( and it feels so good) and back in the studio together.

For episode one, they're kicking off with the "Most Prolific" serial killer of the USA: Henry Lee Lucas...but is everything as it seems?

In part one, we uncover Henry's horrific childhood growing up with a mother who did everything in her power to make his life HELL.

We then go on to uncover how this affected him and left him both physically and mentally wounded for the rest of his life. He claims his first victim was a 17 year old, but it may have actually been his own mother!

We then go on to find out about his teenage years, his time behind bars and a chance meeting which would see him join forces with another heartless individual. Making them the most evil couple the world has ever known.

It's time to get in your jammies because we're off to another SPOOKY SLEEPOVERRR!

This week Cheryl and Nikki are not on their A game. Nikki is knackered and Cheryl has eventually caught the dreaded flu that Nikki kindly gifted to her in the studio. But Nikki managed to go to a gig and get blocked by two of the tallest men in history so she's devised some new rules for gig-go-er's to stick to, to make it better for all involved.

Then the girls fall down their rabbit holes.

This week Cheryl is still on her nostalgia kick. She's kicking it old school with Jamie Oliver and his turkey twizzlers.

Nikki is getting into the walls this week but not because of Phrogging...she's investigating termites and finding out a fact about their queen which will blow your mind!
