stopped playing with an hour left

title stopped playing, voice is drab, and not natural, just same tone all the way through, well most of the way, could not finish because of playback error. storyline a bit boring even for me. I try to listen to everything O start. maybe it was the computer generated voice.

Great story but AI voice hurts it

I have listened to all of the stories in this series because I like the story line; however, the artificial voice is horrible. An audio book should not be read by a virtual voice because it misreads the story. There is no inflection or feeling from the characters it is portraying and the words are read literally without the fact that some words can be read differently depending on the context of the sentence.
If I paid for the books I would have returned them because of the virtual voice. It detracts from a good story line.

Not at all like her other books

I hated this virtual voice narration, but it was a decent story. I did not care much for the main subject of the book. It felt almost like it was a different person who wrote this book, because it was so different from her others.

The story was good. The narrative was awful. The only reason I finished was finding out who did it. Using AI ruined a good book

this was an excellent read. I loved the plot and characters and guessing. what a great ending. lots of surprises
