Very Helpful!

I am a new author myself, and found this audiobook very helpful and informative.
This audiobook will give you a bit of history with lots of helpful information and examples of tools and key words to use for maximizing effect.
Especially for someone new to the subject, this is definitely a very helpful tool.
Enjoyed it, and would recommend to others.

A Great Guide

This is an excellent guide. It has great information and helpful tips, especially for beginners. I did enjoy listening to this audio book but I think this is one book which is needed to be purchased in hard copy. The narration was well done. Austin Stoler's narration was well spoken, clean and clear, as well as at a nice pace. This is an excellent resource to help those who want to really sell their product(s). I would recommend this, and the printed version, to my friends it would benefit.

good overview

I honestly had very little knowledge on what copywriting really is. This provided a good overview to help someone understand what a copywriter really does. That being said, I wouldn't say I learned so much that I could go out and do it for a living. Worth checking out, though.

Lots of helpful information.

Set up as a type of interactive training seminar, the author puts the listener through a copywriting boot camp. He delivers the information in a way that is both massive and easy to follow. You get ideas for different social media and how to most effectively grab the attention of potential customers. Very nicely put together.

The narration is good and professional.

Killer Copywriting Chock Full of Copywriting Info

Although this book isn't in a genre best presented as an audiobook, it is clear Killer Copywriting is full of excellent ad writing information. To the narrator's credit, he spoke clearly and slowly, so every word could be absorbed.

Touching briefly on the history of copywriting, author William Swain cracks the code with lists of power words which evoke certain emotions. I am tempted to buy the ebook or paperback just for those lists. Swain continues with drills, examples and mnemonic aids for copywriting.

Some of the information may seem basic to those who have studied copywriting. To the novice, this will be a treasure trove. For someone like me who knows the fundamentals, it is a great reference for the power words and when I need to put a little extra shine into my copy!

For beginners

This is a good book for beginners like me. I already knew some things but I have learnt many others. I will be going over certain things again.

Copywriting 101 would have been a better title

This book wasn't bad, it was just incredibly basic. If you're familiar with basic sales and marketing principals like "sell the benefits, not the features" you should find a different book to read.
