Publisher's Summary

“I have no desire whatever to reform myself. My only desire is to reform people who try to reform me. And I believe that the only way to reform people is to kill 'em. My motto is, Rob em all, Rape em all and Kill em all.” (Carl Panzram)

In 1902, at the age of 11, Carl Panzram broke into a neighbour’s home and stole some apples, a pie, and a revolver. As a frequent troublemaker, the court decided to make an example of him and placed him into the care of the Minnesota State Reform School. During his two-year detention, Carl was repeatedly beaten, humiliated, and raped by the school staff.

At 15-years old, Carl enlisted in the army by lying about his age but his career was short-lived. He was dishonorably discharged for stealing army supplies and was sent to the military prison, Fort Leavenworth, to serve the maximum sentence for his crimes.

When Carl left Fort Leavenworth in 1910, the experience had sculpted him into the man that he would remain for the rest of his life. His hatred for mankind was firmly ingrained and he set out to do unto others before they could do unto him. His lifelong campaign of terror could finally begin and nothing could stand in his way.

Kill 'Em All is a chilling and gripping account of one of the most brutal and gruesome true crime stories in American history. Ryan Green’s riveting narrative draws the listener into the real-live horror experienced by the victims and has all the elements of a classic thriller.

A chilling predator

Carl Panzram was as repulsive and unsympathetic of a monster as any I've encountered in true crime. His unrepentant savagery and lack of any moral compass was superlatively unsettling.

Another great unhinged work from this author and narrator.

Interesting

This was quite an interesting book. Carl Panzram proves that some people are just born evil.

Awesome true crime story!

Ryan Green did a fantastic job of telling the incredible story of Carl Panzram. Although I had read about this rapist/killer, I had never heard the details of his childhood and the torture he indured. It makes you understand why this man ended up as such a monster. The narrator made the story that much better! I would recommend this book for anyone who is in to true crime or horror.

Carl Panzram story masterfully and brilliantly told!

I had read and heard of Carl Panzram through documentaries and books before this gem. I even knew his ‘story’...or so I thought! CP’s childhood almost makes you feel sorry for him, but the author tells it like it is and the unimaginable deprivation of just ONE man is told with frankness and clarity. I don’t know how but this book told his story in a short amount of time without making you feel you’d missed a major upheaval in Carl Panzram’s life! I loved it!!!

The most evil serial killer of all time.
This man was in my opinion the most evil serial killer because he had no shame for what he did.

Conflicting thoughts

Kill em All. .This is an amazing read/listen -a combination of the unforgivable crimes and horrors committed by Karl . Coupled with the cruelty and physical abuse metered out to young Karl, then the torture he was subjected to by prison guards. .
Makes for a gripping story that you won't be able to put down. As I read I felt emotionally torn between revulsion for this man monster and sympathy for the abused spirit of Karl.. This is an amazing book by Ryan Green whose true crime work are always of a high standard.
Steve White narration is superb the author and the narrator make a perfect team for true crime.
I can wholeheartedly recommend all of Ryans book this one especially.

great!

this has been a great story; the writing... the narrator. It's scary to think people like Carl exist in this world. I love true crime stories & often wonder if the people would've been different if they had a better chance at life but I don't think so. Carl had chances to better himself & he chose to live his life the way he did. Ryan Green does a fantastic job telling their stories. I got this audible from a code at my request & I'm writing this on my own accord. I would definitely recommend!

Nature vs Nurture And More

Wow, this was intense.
This man was born into a horrible situation for starters. Then when he had an ear infection his father decided to do surgery on him at the home and without skills. I believe this event caused serious brain damage.
Then the horrors at boarding school, or whatever you call that awful place.
Ryan Green is a very skilled writer. His research is meticulous, as always.
I have some very mixed feelings about this book, or rather, the person described in the book. I don't think he ever had a chance at normalcy.
Still, a lot of people have horrible childhoods and don't grow up to be the savage that he became.
Such a sad and horrible tale.

Listen on an empty stomach. Some of it was hard to hear but necessary to completely understand this man or at least to try to.

The narrator was great.

I was given this book by the author at no charge for an honest review. Thank you! These are my own thoughts.

Ryan and Steve have done it again

I cannot recommend this duo enough. Ryan's writing is superb and Steve's narration is always brilliant.
It is always interesting to me to see the build to up what makes a person do these monstrous things, I think it's because I could never imagine doing them. It is chilling and horrifying to hear but it is honest and true - perhaps that is what makes it so hard to listen to. Listen to this to hear how unapologetic these people can be.

Bone Chilling.

Wow, such a bone chilling listen. Carl's lack of empathy and morals were truly unsettling. I had never heard of Carl before listening to this book, and I have to agree with some of the other reviewers - he simply has to be the most evil killer.

The narration was perfect, I highly recommend listening to more of Steve White's narrations, which I plan to do too!

makes you think!
Very well narrated. It makes you think about who we share the world with! I've not heard about this man before and I'm very pleased that I don't know anyone so trubbled.
