Publisher's summary

Dreams do come true. It’s Jude's job to make sure they don’t.

Born with the curse of prophetic nightmares, Jude sees violent murders through the eyes of the killer before they happen. His father, who shares Jude’s dark gift, has trained Jude since birth to save the innocent and to kill the killer. A life for a life—it’s the only way.

But everything goes awry when Hanna Smith, the young woman he was supposed to save, rescues herself instead, and catches Jude in her home. Fate isn’t inescapable, but it demands balance. While Hanna may be safe for now, Jude knows that the killer will strike again, only next time there will be no warning. Jude must now find the killer on his own, without the visions to aid him, in order to carry out the task he’s been training for before it’s too late.

A throughly entertaining escape!

Quickly drawn into the character’s life. Rich character description. The plot grabbed my attention and would not let go until the killer was known. The Audible narrator for this book was wonderful to listen to. His voice added to each characters development.

Unique and surprising, with a satisfying ending!

Kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing til the very end! Well written and appealing on multiple levels...romance, sports, paranormal activity, and sustained tension.

Jeff Wooten masterfully balances supernatural elements with everyday teenage concerns.

Kill Call is a riveting thriller that highlights morally gray areas. The tension hangs as Jude grapples with his duty to preemptively kill killers. The harrowing tale unfolds against the stormy skies of Arkansas, where well-developed subplots add depth to the narrative. Jude’s love interest and the high school football team’s exploits provide a rich backdrop. The ethical dilemmas Jude faces make the story unforgettable. Wooten’s debut leaves me eagerly awaiting more from this talented author.

Great writing

There are no dull spots in this book. The action/suspense is always there. When you think you have the book figured out there’s a twist that makes you second guess. Great writing by Wooten
