Publisher's summary

The best-selling Kiera Hudson Series One. All six novels in one bundle.

Vampire Shift (audiobook one): When 20-year-old police recruit Kiera Hudson is posted to the remote town of The Ragged Cove, her life is changed forever. Investigating a series of horrific murders, grave desecrations, and missing persons, Kiera uses her unique ability of seeing and soon realizes her own life is in danger. When Kiera falls for police officer Luke Bishop, not only are her mind and heart opened to a terrifyingly new world, she comes to suspect Luke might be involved in the killings.

Vampire Wake (audiobook two): Since escaping from The Ragged Cove and finding herself suspended from the force, Kiera Hudson is hired by the mysterious Lady Hunt to protect her 16-year-old daughter from a stranger she believes is lurking on the moors. But little does Kiera know that it is she who will need protecting.

Vampire Hunt (audiobook three): In search of Kayla and on the run, Kiera and her friends make a race against time across the Cumbria Mountains. With vampires predicting their every move, the trust among Kiera and her friends starts to waver.

Vampire Breed (audiobook four): Kiera awakens to find herself imprisoned. Experiencing horrific nightmares and visions, she slowly realizes she has been subjected to a series of sinister tests and operations.

Wolf House (audiobook five): As Potter leaves Kiera and his friends to go in search of Luke, he makes a lonely journey across the snowcapped mountains of Cumbria. Haunted by the death of Murphy, the capture of Luke, and the love he feels for Kiera, Potter reflects on his past life and the disturbing events that took place at the Wolf House.

Vampire Hollows (audiobook six): With nowhere else to run but The Hollows, Kiera Hudson finds herself in a world like no other. Entrusted with a secret, she has to make her way to the mysterious lighthouse set hundreds of miles beneath the Earth. As she makes her journey, Kiera's companions are being murdered one by one.

Good Story but production issues

Great story with very lovable / hateable characters. There were quiet a few areas that repeated some a few words, some almost a sentence. Nothing that would turn me off of the book, but it got to be frustrating after the 6th or seventh time.

Tiresome narration

This story may have been a work of art, but the narrative was so disparate that I felt I was slogging through a junior high production that lasted for days and days, and ruined it for me. the narrative was so juvenile, the heroine so whingy, and did not enhance the emotional sagas of these books. Another narrator would probably have done it justice... we'll never know, I guess.

Intrigued But Annoyed

Really liked the story because it kept me guessing (for sure) to the end. I wish the author had taken more care in his style of writing. I almost returned the title because listening became very annoying very quickly. I only kept going because the story also became very interesting very quickly. The MC started out intelligent and confident. Unfortunately she became the most naive or stupidest MC I have ever come across. Still, she was very likable. There were a lot of flaws throughout the story & the recording. Also, the story could have been more condensed. Still, it kept my interest. The narrator was great, nice soothing voice. You kind of have to have nerves close to steel to get through this one, with all the flaws and gruesome parts, but the intrigue was worth it for me.

good book

i loved these books. however i feel that the editing or however audio books are done child have been better. at the end of every chapter it seems some narration was cut off. so i missed some. then there is repetition of the same sentences allot. overall the story is really good. Narrator was good. just the audio is missing material.

The editing is terrible

I like the story a different take on vampires. But mostly in the 4th book the editing is terrible. In some spots the narrator would repeat herself for 30 seconds at a time.

More Like two and half stars.

The more I listen to this book the more I start to really dislike it. The main female character is basically useless in a fight and the narrator just keeps getting more and more annoying with high pitched whining etc. I just can't listen to anymore of this series. What a waste of a credit. Urgh!!!!
