Publisher's Summary

The life of Queen Elizabeth I was dramatic and dangerous: cast out of her father's court at the age of three and imprisoned at 19, Elizabeth was crowned queen in 1558, when she was only 25. A tough, intelligent woman who spoke five languages, Elizabeth ruled for over 40 years and led England through one of its most prosperous periods in history.

Fun and short - good history for my eight-year-old

Judging from the 100 times my daughter listened to this, I would say it was quite interesting. Great format and length to get little ones interested in history. I looked for and downloaded other books in this "Who was..." series as a result.

Pretty good book.
I learned a lot. More then I thought I could learn from a child's book (even though I am a child)
I would recommend this book to anyone. It has An amazing story and an amazing personality.
