An imaginative story like no other...

Spending your time out in your room without dinner...a perfect time to slip off and rule the monster world. My children and I love this book so much. We have read it a hundred times. The audiobook is a joy to listen to and my kids got lost in the reader's voices. We highly recommend this audiobook for your children ages 2-92!

Very Fun!

My son loves this story. It captures the imagination & is written with the perspective as coming from a small, ornery boy!

Pretty good - maybe not for younger children

We like this book, but this audiobook might not be the best for little ones as the music can sound a bit scary as well the the person speaking it. It’s great for this book, but I probably wouldn’t play it again for my 3yr old for a while.

Book

I love the book but it would be better if it had more effects than it has.

Excellent Narration!

My son loves the narration on this classic children’s book! The performance captures his full attention and he constantly asks to hear it again.

Loved it since I was a kid!

I've always adored "Where The Wild Things Are." It's a truly beautiful story and it's got great morals for kids to live by. All-time favorite classic! :)

First Synchronized Images

I thought the story was good, but not great. Same with the narrator, he was okay, but not any better than me reading it to my grandchildren. I could not get the images to come up on my Icloud player on the computer, but it worked great on my I-Phone. Would really like to figure out how to get it on a larger screen. This is a great idea, I am going to be getting several more this week to test drive before the holidays, when the grandkids are here.

Roaring good fun

If you could sum up Where the Wild Things Are in three words, what would they be?

Fun, imaginative, silly.

What did you like best about this story?

The story itself was fun and well written.

Which character – as performed by Peter Schickele – was your favorite?

Max.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Boy become the king of the beasts.

Any additional comments?

The narrator did an excellent job of reading and roaring. I thought the music was a bit too loud in places and distracted from the story. I thought that this book has been one of the better children's book that I have listened to with Audible.com. The pictures were an added surprise. Good job.
