Publisher's summary

The world is filled with candy and sweets, especially at certain times of the year. For one, lonely fairy, sweets become her refuge and she hides her face and toothless grin, sad to not have one friend. But, she is a generous and sweet-loving fairy. Her greatest fear is that her face is full of warts and her nub of a nose will be cause for rejection. She watches the children have fun in the streets of summer and she wishes that she could befriend them, but she is too afraid to make the first approach. What if they are scared? What if they don't like her?

On one day, as autumn begins she looks down at the children and they are dressed in scary outfits - they look like ghouls and ghosts, witches and warlocks, and even fairies. She is baffled and surprised that the children are not scared of each other and of their selves. She thought that looking scary meant that no one would want to be her friend. She has a realization - perhaps being scary is not all that bad.

So a wistful plan is formed - the Toothless Fairy decides that she will finally conquer her fear of approaching a potential friend by using her fairy magic. She knows that kids receive candy on Halloween, and that often times they do not eat it all. So her plan becomes to give a gift in return for a child's candy, and she knows that if the child accepts her trade, she would never be scared of making friends again.

Ohhh This Was An Adorable Children's Story

The Toothless Fairy was simply adorable! I think it's perfect and especially for the age group. I can't think of any kiddo that wouldn't love this story. Even I loved it.
Timothy Jordan is truly a gifted story teller. I would definitely recommend this audio. Although it's short, it's fab. And as most kids want to listen again and again, this wouldn't get old at all.

Richard Rieman is also an exceptional story teller. His voice is so good in the genre of children's stories. He makes this come to life. His narration is outstanding.

I also love the cover art as well as the illustrations. Excellent.

True Friendship begins with an act of Kindness

What did you like best about this story?

I like how this story teaches about friendship and the uncertainty with being liked. We all have insecurities. This handles this topic wonderfully. I would have like to see the pics (which was offered). Perhaps I'll go back and listen again.

Have you listened to any of Richard Rieman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. I very much enjoyed Mr. Rieman's cadence. It was friendly, smooth and welcoming.

Good moral message in a fun way

Very good audio book for little kids. Rhythmic easy words, conveyed in a fun medium with a good narrator. The moral message in the story is a good one. I received this audiobook from the author narrator or publisher for free via audiobookblast in exchange for an unbiased review
