A timeless classic

I read this book to my son when he was young. Now with this edition in Audible, my granddaughter loves to listen to it at bed time, while riding in the car, when she wakes up in the morning, while eating breakfast lunch and supper. As a matter of fact, I think she's listened to it so many times now that she could recite it word for word.

The narrator did a wonderful job. Her voice is very pleasing to listen to and captures my granddaughter's attention.

I received this free copy in return for my honest review.

Still a Bedtime classic 🐷

Any additional comments?

I used to read The 3 little 🐖's to my kids and now it's so much better playing it on audible for my granddaughter. Heidi's narration is very entertaining and holds the interest of a 6 year old pretty well. I was given a free copy of this book and have decided to voluntarily leave this

Perfect length and narration

Another classic story of just the right length to hold my 3.5 yr old's attention. The narrator was lively and engaging (another very important feature, if your aim to capture young children's attention for very long). She did a nice job in particular when it came to switching back and forth between the small, scared voices of the 3 little pigs and the deep, forbidding voice of the big, bad wolf.

Thank you to the author, narrator, and audiobookboom.com for a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.

The Three Little Pigs

This is a nice retelling of a classic tale. I’ve heard a few different variations of this tale over the years and this one had a few differences still. A nice way to keep the story fresh while still keeping the general storyline the same.

Cute retelling of a childhood classic

This is a the tale of the 3 little pigs with a little bit of a twist from the classic tale. I haven't heard this version so it made it enjoyable for me since it wasn't the "standard" 3 little pigs. My kids like this book as it isn't so long that they get bored listening to it (they are 3 and 6).

The narration was very easy to listen to and both of my kids enjoyed her reading. We have listed to this book too many times to count since downloading it.

A clever reimagining of a childhood classic

Story:
This is the classic story of the three little pigs with some variations I have never heard before but serve to make the story very tellable to your little ones.

Narration:
I found the narrators voice to be perfect for this bedtime classic. Very British, very female, and very appropriate.

Short and Classic

This is the classic story of the "Three Little Pigs," and is perfect for kids. The nine minute runtime is certainly very short, but that's to be expected since it is just a single story.

Heidi Gregory does a fine job narrating. She speaks clearly and has a good voice for the materiel.

The only issue I really noticed was that it uses the word "furze" instead of sticks. It means the same thing essentially, but listening to it I thought she said "furs," as in animal skins. This is a very minor issue, and largely just one of listener vocabulary.

Cute retelling of the classic

In this version of the 3 little pigs, the suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat and you'll never guess the shocking twist! Kidding. Obviously you know the story. It's the same charming classic we all know and love. Joking aside though, I always think of the straw, twigs, and bricks and forget that half of the story is actually the bricks-pig outsmarting the wolf.

Loved this narration. She did great voices and had a really dynamic, engaging voice. I'll have to check out some other recordings by her.

The old school version where bad ideas have bad consequences.

There is something to be said for cause and effect stories where the effects follow from the causes. The foolish man builds his house on the sand and a foolish piggie builds his house out of straw.

I am not sure why we ever started to insulate kids from reality. I never heard this story when I was growing up.

Good narrator for a good quick story.
