Publisher's Summary

Dear Diary.... Bess and I were thrilled to bump into our old buddy, Maggie Rogers, a promising young dancer who is in River Heights to perform a lead role in Sleeping Beauty. But someone's out to get Maggie. First, her phone was tampered with, making her late for rehearsal. Then her face was violently scratched out on the show's posters, and her dressing room was trashed beyond belief. I'm determined to find out who's trying to sabotage my friend's career. But I have to crack this case before the big show - or it could wind up being Maggie's last dance!

Good Story...Narrator.....meh

I really liked the story, but had a really hard time getting through it because the narrator sounded like her nose was stuffed up and it was absolutely distracting.

Best yet

If you only read one in this series, then this is the one. Delightful. A definitely 5 star read if not for the narrator. Had to zing it one star for the dreadful reader voice.

My Review

Would you listen to The Red Slippers again? Why?

No because it is a mystery and I already know the outcome. Usually I like to try to solve the mystery while it is playing.

Any additional comments?

I especially like The Red Slippers because I am a dancer myself. I think it is cool to listen to something about ballet that is accurate in what it is like. The only thing I would do differently is add more action.
