an entertaining sequel

This was an overall satisfying listen. I think this book is more promising to people who are familiar with the first book (Faerie Wars); however, even to those new to the series, I think the action in the story and the intrigue of the story are engaging. Also, Gerard Doyle is a great narrator!

Great Series!

A very good read. Excellent sequel! The demons are back. The prince is up to new and exciting ways of completely messing everything up. And yes, once again everyone is out to get him, but for some completely new reasons and with some excitingly unexpected methods. You've got to read this!

Much better than Faire Wars

This book is what Faire Wars (book 1 in the series) should have been. It is a great story about a parallel universe involving fairies. It has a great twist that is not expected. Better for Pre-teen & teenagers than children. The mundane, irrelevant events of the analog (earthly) world are limited to only those that are related to the story.

Enjoyable

While I had not read the previous book, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. There was a lot going on without ever leaving me too much on the edge of my seat.

I found the resolution to each conflict satisfying. I am looking for more books by this author.

cute story

Nice YA novel. I am older than the usual YA reader, but I listen while gardening and such, and like a light novel for that. This works perfectly. I will be getting the next in the series.
