A marvelous performance of the classic fairy tale The Princess and the Pea, by Danish folktale master Hans Christian Andersen, features lively and spirited narration by Helen Davis, sound effects, and a delightful piano accompaniment. Andersen claims it is a "true story" of how a prince searched all over the world, but could never find his "real" princess. Back home, someone came knocking at the city gate on a cold, wet, stormy night and while she said she was a princess, it was not until she passed a test devised by the Queen that the prince knew he had found true love.
