In New York Times best-selling author Dan Gutman's all-new series, which blends fascinating real history with an action-packed and hilarious adventure, four very different kids are picked by a mysterious billionaire to travel through time and photograph some of history's most important events. This time the four friends are headed to 1863 to catch Abraham Lincoln delivering his famous Gettysburg Address. They'll have to work together to ask the right questions, meet the right people, and capture the right moment. And, most important - not get caught!

First Flashback and Gutman Novel was Good

This novel was very interesting due to all the accurate history, humor, current references and great writing with a child's perspective. All well done.

Wonderful Book & Series

My daughter and I actually read the 2nd book in the Flashback Four series about Titanic first. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to start at the beginning. They are filled with historic facts and presented in a way that kept us on the edge of our seats. Highly recommend!

Good Story

The book was really good at following history and I like how it was still interesting even though it’s history.

Stupid and dishonest kids

I don’t like the supposed heroes in a kids book lying to their parents, which they do to get “permission” to go on this incredibly dangerous mission. (There are no adults with them.)

For 13 year olds, these kids are pretty ignorant and they make bad decisions.

The book has too much explanation and not enough adventure.

I really don’t want my kids or grandkids reading these books.
