A shifty ape and a puzzling ass!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Last Battle: The Chronicles of Narnia, Book 7 to be better than the print version?

Reading and listening to the book is the best way to experience the story.

What did you like best about this story?

The humour and the wonderful ending is what I enjoyed the most.

Have you listened to any of Patrick Stewart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This the only one I have heard from Patrick Stewart and his reading is definitely one of the better narration. He has a brilliant reading voice.

Any additional comments?

The final book in the Narnia series. It has a shifty ape and a puzzling ass posing as Aslan and creating chaos and destruction everywhere they go. This creates a humorous story as well as dealing with matters of the spirit. A wonderful tale.

Great story, disappointing performance.

This is a great and powerful story but the performance is a bit disappointing. I'm a fan of Patrick Stewart but his reading is not as good as it could be - some of his voices don't match the other books, which is a little annoying and he pronounces some names differently at different times. Besides these minor annoyances it's okay.

Brilliant Finale!

I'm upset to have finished the series but it was a beauty. It was a glimpse of heaven. It was funny, sad, extreme happiness, all rolled in to one.

Last of the Narnia books in order and in quality

My least favourite Narnia book, only worth reading as it wraps up the Narnia story.
Patrick Stewart does a great job of bringing the characters alive.
