A Classic Favorite..Even Better

If you could sum up The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites in three words, what would they be?

I didn't think Dr. Suess could be made better, this audio did just that!

Who was your favorite character and why?

This was a compilation of favorite stories, so there was something for everyone. Each story was read by a different celebrity. Dustin Hoffman reads Horton Hears a Who, etc.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

I can't choose, I really can't. Although, How the Grinch Stole XMas is my favorite story, of all time!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, dole it out slowly. Listen to a couple of stories at a time, and enjoy.

I loved this collection of stories. It has all my favorites by Dr. Seuss and the voice talent is amazing!

Besides reading the stories, on and off, through my life.Having these Dr.Seuss stories, read to me + my family, by some of my favorite stars. What a bonus !!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No way. Each story was one per night, different way of doing story time.

We All Enjoyed this one

Ideal for a family car trip. Adults enjoyed working out who the voice talents were, and all the beloved stories were well narrated. At two hours this is well worth the credit.

The reason I did not give this 5 stars is the music is a bit too intrusive (I have a child that is hard of hearing, and the background music would sometimes obscure out the words).

My four year old listens to this in the car, at bedtime, and just for a rest. Love the different voices!

Great for the car

My Daughter loves this in the car - keeps her quiet on long trips and therefore worth every cent.
Some of the stories are very well read by great readers.
Highly recommended

No, but this is a great book for young and old children alike.

I love this. Usually I don't like to listen to children's books. The great narrators made a huge difference. I especially love How the Grinch stole Christmas.
