Captured by a giant!
The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It's lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, or any of the other giants - rather than the BFG - she would have soon become breakfast. When Sophie hears that the giants are flush-bunking off to England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

Very good I really liked it and I have read it at least three times good job
I just loved this book so much and there is nothing that I would change. I recommended it to my mom because I thought she would like it and I’ve been reading it to her and she’s loving it so much.

Narration is Awesome
Where does The BFG rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The story of course is great, but the narrator . . . . wow! So much talent. My boys, and I, listen to this quite often.
What did you like best about this story?
Lots of humor and very creative.
What does David Walliams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He brings to life all the characters in a way few can. So many different voices. Absolutely loved his narration.

Incredible narration!
Great book made so much better by being read so well! Love Audibles but the range of talent reading is rather wide. It's a real treat when it's read by an actor/actress who performs the heck out of the book! Well done!

Classic Must Read
I'm embarrassed to admit that at 47 years of age I finally stopped to enjoy this book. It was recommended by a student and I am so glad. In classic Roald Dahl style, I was thoroughly entertained by the fun and whimsical story of The Big Friendly Giant and his faithful friend, Sophie!
