Publisher's summary

The Fairchild family is here again, and this time, Bonnie is old enough to begin the great adventure - school! We join Bonnie in the excruciating anticipation of the first day, when she will wear her new dress, carry a first reader and slate, and displaying nonchalance as she braves the swinging bridge - enter into the mysteries of schoolroom learning and playground rites in a woodland setting of the early 1900s.

Bonnie's older brother and three sisters, her various classmates, and Miss Cora, her teacher, add their liveliness to an eventful season of learning on every front in the Kentucky Hills.

Keeps my 4 year old daughters attention!

My daughter loves this whole series. She’s become attached to the characters, especially 4 year old Bonnie. Fantastic purchase.

sweet story for any age

same reader/narrator as the previous book in this series. this story is a great book for youngsters -but sweet, filled with wonder and simplicity and enjoyable for parents listening along with their children. can find nothing offensive nor inappropriate for young children.

Amazing!

Definitely one of my favorite books! There are three other books in the series, 1 before this one , and 2 after. Mary Sarah Agliotta’s narration was amazing!

Spoiled children don't deserve to live!!!!!🙂😐😕😔😒😠😤

These kids are kind of spoiled. Get a bunny do you know Do you know how much weight I lost listening to stupid story?nuuuuuuuuuuun this is the dumbest because the kids are spoiled. The way they say Bonnie is disturbing to me. They pronounce it Bon-nay it's so stupid and useless. And the hardships they Ender. Eating junk food and being the baby of the family are pathetic! Who cares if their stupid ducklings died! They were going to sell them anyway for Christmas dinner they would've been killed. And it's really dumb to that mr. Chibble gave them a baby lamb it's pathetic. And just because the stupid ducklings died doesn't mean that their dad had to go and waste his money on Banny chickens for them. It's bantom not bantammm. And when the horse old mag broke the eggs when she was galloping home their dad could've drove them over in the wagon. It's ridiculous that every country time audiobook only includes rich people in their richly stuff. No I do not recommend this book!!!! Your sincerely (very sincerely) pig-widget
