Publisher's summary

The American Revolution has begun - and Rush Revere, liberty the horse, and the time-traveling crew are ready to ride into the action!

Join us on this incredible time-travel adventure!

Liberty, my wisecracking horse, our old friends Cam, Tommy, Freedom, and I are off to meet some super-brave soldiers in the year 1775. Yep, that’s right. We’ll be visiting with the underdog heroes who fought for American independence, against all odds - and won! But not before eight very real years of danger and uncertainty. Be a part of Rush Revere’s crew as we rush, rush, rush into a time when British rule had become a royal pain, and rebellion was in the air. We’ll be on hand to see two lanterns hungin the Old North Church, prevent a British spy from capturing Paul Revere, and grapple with danger at the battles of Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill.

The extra-special part of this trip is that right here in the twenty-first century, Cam’s dad is a soldier fighting in Afghanistan, and Cam has been pretty angry that he is away. Visiting with exceptional American heroes like Dr. Joseph Warren and George Washington, racing along after Paul Revere on his midnight ride, and seeing the Declaration of Independence signed make Cam see his own dad in a new and special way.

But don’t worry. Along with the danger, excitement, and patriotism, there will still be time to stop for a delicious spinach, oats, and alfalfa smoothie. No, wait—that one’s for Liberty. The kids and I voted for strawberries.

Now let’s open the magic portal to the past!

Rush has done it again, He's made History exciting

This is a very entertaining book and will help you and your child learn a little history along the way. Rush narrates this himself and does a great job.
If you've read his first two history books and enjoyed them, you'll like this one as well.... same general set up just different history lesson.
Recommend for just about any age.

stupendous real American history story

Would you consider the audio edition of Rush Revere and the American Revolution to be better than the print version?

I Think they are both wonderful. The print version has beautiful art work kids would have to love. The audio version is wonderful as Rush himself tells you his story . Rush is one of the greatest broadcasters of all time agree or disagree the man knows speech.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rush Revere and the American Revolution?

When Cam figures out why his father is away and fighting for our country and for our freedoms and then when he gets to tell his dad just that with his mom.

What does Rush Limbaugh bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way Rush can use words and how he can tell a story will make you want to listen to this story in away only Rush can tell it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Rush Rush Rush to History with Liberty,Cam, Tommy, Freedom and Rush Revere

Any additional comments?

A fun way for kids to understand real American history stories and a fun way for all ages to rediscover what America is all about

I was thoroughly in thralled with the story

I’ve always been interested in American history. The dramatic presentation of this story is so entertaining, it kept my attention the whole time. At my last birthday I was 67 years old. I have been listening to the whole series on Audible sense the first story was released.

Very Entertaining!

I loved listening to these stories on my way to work. I learned things I never knew about American history. Stories are much easier to remember than cold facts.
