Enchanting and Exquisite.

I chose this title on a little bit of a whim and therefore was not sure what to expect. I can safely say I have been captivated from start to finish. Rundell's prose is easy, has a gorgeous flow and is full of mischief and wonder.

The characters of Sophie and Charles compliment one another so well and their relationship blossoms as the books progresses and they become more familiar with one another.

Sophie is a charming character with lots of quirks and traits that are not only build a clear image of her in your mind but also help you picture her mannerisms as she moves through life.

This is a wonderful book and I would recommend it to any one. The story is one that keeps you guessing with lots of twists and turns. Rundell's characters are interesting and this book will certainly make you think differently about the world above your head and the world of the Sky Steppers.

Rooftoppers is well worth the download. Gordon Griffin's voice is easy to listen to and I thoroughly enjoyed this title.

Beautiful, lyrical and utterly gratifying. Sophie and Charles are such charming characters and Rooftoppers flows like an elegant concerto.

Adventure and exploration

Brilliant story with a strong female lead. The only criticism is that the narrator could have given her a stronger voice.

Wonderful - shame about the ending

I loved listening to this book. The relationship between Sophie and her father is described in loving detail. Charles is a wonderful character and Sopie's encounters with the rooftoppers are also very interesting. However, the ending felt rushed to me. The entire story builds up to a resolution which is done in an abrupt way, it almost felt like a cliff hanger. I would be great to have a sequel. The narrator is excellent.

lovely

A beautiful book about love and being on the outside of social norms. Sophie's relationship with Charles and her search for her mother are insightful and delightful.
