Publisher's Summary

Annie Barrows introduces Ivy and Bean, two unique girls who certainly didn't plan on becoming friends. Bean, a mischievous yet lovable tomboy, never thought she'd enjoy playing with Ivy, the quiet new neighbor who looks rather boring. Ivy, however, happens to be a witch in training! When Bean gets into a real pickle, Ivy unexpectedly comes to her aid, sparking a rambunctious backyard caper that just might lead to a fabulous new friendship.

fun, but too expensive

my 6 year old daughter loves this book, and wants to listen to more, but they're priced at $7/hr. which is 2-3x what they're worth.

Wonderful

This was such a fun book for me. I little reminder of childhood. The narration was perfect. I am looking forward to listening to more.

The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship

Bean tells the story of how she and Ivy become fast and faithful friends. Your classic story of two seemingly opposites personalities being brought together by surprising similar interests.

A lively narration punctuates the clever and capricious interactions, bringing each character to life through vocal differentiation.

I look forward to future installments!

Good, if you ignore the sibling fighting.

My 7 year old daughter loves the Ivy and Bean series. My only complaint about the story is the constant name calling and sibling fighting. Not sure if all the series is like this. Good performance overall with the narrator.

So cute and perfect for kids but don't want my kids acting like that! They were just mean.
