Diversity is fun

It is safe to say these are not the fairy tales that you and I grew up on, Nikolia Teleshov has brought together fairy tales and legends from around the world to make this interesting and eclectic book so the masses can enjoy each others stories. I suppose he truly understands that we need diversity more than ever right now and this will help. If you are lucky enough to get the audio version than will hear the wonders of voice actor and narrator Fred Wolinsky lend his voice to the different characters throughout the different stories and make each story and character different and wonderful.

Great collection of short stories

I loved this collection of short stories. They all had a moral incorporated into them and I think they would be great for the whole family. Most of the stories held my interest throughout them. There were a couple that my mind would drift off while listening, but overall a great mix of stories! Fred did another fantastic job on the narration! He has just a wide range of voices and it's always a pleasure listening to him!

Fun and heartwarming stories for the whole family

This is a collection of Russian tales and legends, each with a moral incorporated into the story. They have enough depth to be enjoyed by children or adults on different levels, each relating as per their experience and maturity. There is a diversity of styles, and everyone will have a different favorite. My personal favorite was "Dawn," a tale of love and power, with a clever twist ending. I also found "The White Heron" to be mesmerizing, and enjoyed all the others as well. The narrator does a fine job capturing each mood and style, and differentiating the voices very clearly. All in all, a very enjoyable listen for the whole family.
