Publisher's summary

Henry York never dreamed his time in Kansas would open a door to adventure, much less 100 doors. But a visit to his aunt and uncle's farm took an amazing turn when cupboard doors, hidden behind Henry's bedroom wall, revealed themselves to be portals to other worlds.

Now, with his time at the farm drawing to a close, Henry makes a bold decision. He must go through the cupboards to find the truth about where he is from and who his parents are. Following that trail will take him from one world to another, and ultimately into direct conflict with the evil of Endor.

Epic book, everyone should read it!

What N.D Wilson didn’t put into his first book, he put into this book! Perfect storyline, epic ideas, and great performance! A few of the great things were how he explained how the Hal of the Fitsfaeron fell, his ideas about magic, and christening coming with power. The “second sight” idea was great! I liked how the voices were typically constant from the first book and all through this one. The only bad thing was that the music at the beginning and ending got in the way of the story. Anyways, one of the greatest books I have read! Thank you, N.D Wilson!

nothing else like it.

loved it, nothing like it in faith-based fantasy. Thanks N. D. Wilson! Also, plz know I discovered ypur books at the Homeschool Convention in Ohio this past spring. I bought and you signed the first book in this series. And we (my 4 children and I) haven't been able to get enough of Henry since!

I mean it. Don't miss this series, and especially don't miss this book. Listen and fall into the waves.

NO!

The story line in this story was good and I liked the characters but it just lost me. I feel like all the action scenes were short lived and were too obvious. Maybe you will like the story but it just wasn’t my cup-o-tea.

Great epic story! like the Magician's Nephew

Great sequel, super story. really enjoyed the production. Reminded me a bit of the Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis. Well done!

Unexpectedly wonderful!

In all honesty I didn not enjoy the first book in the series (100 Cupboards). However Dandelion Fire was faster paced and hard to put down. Normally I more interested in historical fiction, this is the perfect combination of real life similarities and a magical possibilities.
Give it a read, you won't regret it!

Awesome storytelling!

This is an excellent series. Even my non-fantasy living husband enjoys it. Story telling at its finest.

Riveting story, narrator unbearable at times

Dandelion Fire is an edge-of-your-seat, spectacular voyage through the doors and into Henry’s new reality. Really incredible writing, and wonderful story. Definitely dark at times, but really compelling. I loved it!

However, I can’t get behind the narrator. He sticks to the cadence of each of his characters’ voices to the point that their tone is confusing even contradicting with certain contexts and phrases. Certainly, developing m various voices for each character is an amazing skill, but it almost feels like he’s trying too hard? Either way, going to have to get my hands on a paper copy of the next one. I don’t think I can handle hearing his version of Caleb’s voice ever again.

Adventurous!

This story is more adventurous than the first. more mystery and danger than the first.
