Publisher's summary

In the epic sequel to the New York Times best-selling novel The School for Good and Evil, Sophie and Agatha are home, living out their Ever After. But life isn’t quite the fairy tale they expected.

When Agatha secretly wishes she’d chosen a different happy ending, she reopens the gates to the School for Good and Evil. But the world she and Sophie once knew has changed.

Witches and princesses, warlocks and princes are no longer enemies. New bonds are forming; old bonds are being shattered. But underneath this uneasy arrangement, a war is brewing and a dangerous enemy rises. As Agatha and Sophie battle to restore peace, an unexpected threat could destroy everything, and everyone, they love - and this time, it comes from within.

Soman Chainani has created a spectacular world that Newbery Honor-winning author Ann M. Martin calls “a fairy tale like no other, complete with romance, magic, and humor that will keep you turning pages until the end.”

Fun sequel!

I really enjoy this series so far. First book was really great, this was one slightly less intense but still kept my interest the whole time. Excited to continue!

these kids just make the worst choices

seriously, without spoiling anything, these kids are dumb. like, it's pretty obvious they're being manipulated the whole time and all they have to do is trust each other, but they can't. I'm specifically blaming Agatha, who is well-intentioned, but has yet to really make the best choice.

Fantasy to make you think

I've always loved this series and watching the real struggle of seeing the good in what is otherwise an abusive relationship is hard, but also rewarding in its setting.

Cats Vs Dogs

This sequel wasn't at all what I expected it to be. Admittedly I don't know what I was expecting, but the path this lead me down was wild, and often times straddling the very curious line of suspenseful and hilarious. If you enjoyed the first book, you'll likely enjoy this one as well.

Once again Polly Lee narrates and does a phenomenal job at bringing a unique voice to each character and bringing them to life.

Love these books!!!

Just as good as the first book. Fantastic story, and the new villain is deliciously evil.

Love this series...

I couldn't stop the first book and finished it in 2 days. And the second book is just as good as the first, if not better. Can't wait to start the third book!

Amazing! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Pros:

- Love this author’s writing style
- Excellent audio 👌
- Brilliant world-building
- No character’s are flat—all are believable with layers
- Kept me guessing (which books rarely do).

Cons:

- The money I’m spending by buying all eBook and audio versions of this series—well worth it though. 💯
