Critic reviews

"[A] winsome story of friendship - proceeds thus, with a Snicketian 13 words in all.... This charming chef-d’oeuvre sings like a mezzo-soprano." (Kirkus Reviews)

A beautiful song!

Nico Muhly wrote this charming song, and the mezzo soprano singing is Eve Gigliotti, who sings in opera houses across the country including The Metropolitan Opera! What a treat to hear this song with this story. Thank you!

A Picture-book with No Pictures!

How much fun is it to read a picture-book without any pictures? Not much.
