Twilight zone

What made the experience of listening to Kick the Can the most enjoyable?

I have seen this episode of twilight zone on tv but it was many years again. I liked the fact that listening to it you could picture it the way you wanted it to go.

What other book might you compare Kick the Can to and why?

Im not sure what book I could compare it to but all of the twilight zone audiobook episodes are favorites of mine.

Have you listened to any of Shelley Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to another twilight zone audiobook narrated by her and it was done well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending was good that all of the older people got to go off and spend their days as children enjoying themselves because they believed.

remember the magic

a reminder to remember the magic of youth--told so compellingly that even at my age, I want to be sure to play a game of kick the can today--right after the kids get off the bus....

Sad and depressing

The story is slow and is just depressing. I'm not expecting I will listen again. I wanted a more supernatural Twilight Zone episode, instead I got a bunch of fuddy duddies.

Eh.

Slow and uninspired.

Slow and depressing start. Slow and depressing middle part. Uninspired ending. Even the voice acting was lifeless. I'd skip this one.
