Publisher's summary

Olivia Rickard has turned over a new leaf. She’s done with outside investigations. Olivia has decided that, to be a better girlfriend, she’s going to turn a blind eye to the mysteries in town. Besides, her sister Janelle is acting fishy enough lately. For Olivia, that mystery is more important to solve than finding out where Andrew’s missing report is. However, Andrew isn’t letting this particular bone go. He’s worried about his coworker, and scared that something might be very, very wrong. Olivia tries to track down Hattie and her missing data so Andrew can present the report to his fullest potential. But when Olivia finds more than one suspect sneaking around Hattie’s house, her gut begins to ping and Olivia’s sheepdog, Goodwin agrees. Sure enough, Hattie Dominick is nowhere to be found, and there’s ice cream melting on her porch. Now time is ticking away faster than the Rocky Road. The Police Chief’s hands are tied and it seems like Olivia is the only person searching for this lost soul. Olivia will need to accept that she’s born for this sleuthing thing, because giving up on the hunt could mean giving up on ever finding Hattie.

Great Listen

I loved this continuation of the Happy Tails Dog Walking Mysteries. Olivia is such an endearing character that Stella St. Claire has created. I found this book to be great standalone listen and a continuation to the series. The mystery is solved in a less than predictable way, which adds to the book's appeal. Machelle Williams continues to keep distinguished voices for the various characters, which is great. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator in the future.

Tail Wagging Good

Kept in the Bark
Happy Tails Dog Walking Mysteries, Volume 5
: Stella St. Claire

Oliva is back with the next cozy dog walking mystery. She is doing her best to be a good girlfriend to Andrew. This has laugh out loud humor, twists and surprises enough to keep the listener happily engaged.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Machelle Williams brings all the characters to life.

Fun cozi!

This is the first I have listened to in this series, but it was easily treated as a stand alone. Olivia is a dog walker sister to a baker and girlfriend to an IT guy. She also has a tendency for some unauthorized crime solving but is on the straight and narrow to staying out of trouble. That is until her boyfriends agoraphobic partner disappears. This was a fun dog and frosting filled cozi and I look forward to more in the series. The narration is decent, took a little adjustment for some of the voices but it was fine by the end. Book 5

Another fun book in this series. Book 5 keeps you guessing and you have all the original cast. I have really enjoyed listening to this series and watching the cast of characters change and develop. Michelle Williams does an amazing job again with the narration of this book. She brings the characters to life. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

Missing Programmers and Big Box Stores

Between walking dogs, trying to figure out her sister's erratic mode swings and missing her sweetie while he's out of town at a conference, Olivia tries to track down a missing, reclusive programmer.
This could be a stand alone story but it's probably better if you've read at least some of the previous stories since it features the same cast of zany sidekicks and co-investigators as the previous books.
Well written, funny and sufficiently "mysterious" to keep you guessing, this would be a great choice for a lazy fall evening in front of the fire place - or curled up in your favourite big chair if your current abode doesn't sport a crackling fire.

Ok hear me out...

Ok so I started this whole series because it was free as long as I reviewed but now I'm at the point where I can't miss a book and I wish it was on the hallmark channel or anything. Don't get me wrong the debate is always book or movie but in this series it's definitely the audiobook. So much fun!

I have listened to the other books in this series and this one was just as much fun... I still get a bit frustrated with the main character and her boyfriend and their lack of communication however it does keep the story going and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this one to those mystery and romance readers

Cozy Mystery!

This is the 5th book in the Happy Tails Dog Walking Mysteries but it stands alone. Professional dog walker and amateur detective, Olivia Rickard is done with investigating mysteries. However this time her boyfriend has a co-worker missing. He wants Olivia to investigate! Fun cozy with interesting characters that you want to explore more deeply. It is the only one of the series I read but I now want to read the rest!

Machelle Williams's narration was well done. She brought the characters alive.
