KELLAN:

How do you keep a bubble from popping when you want to catch it? Easy, don't try to catch it at all.

I'm so in love with Draxton that I'd do just about anything to keep him around a little longer—even if it means shoving him into another guy's arms! It's my way of saying, I'm not trying to build a Draxton prison over here!

But, how will I do that if I have to protect him while he's going on all these missions to help my brother free Atlas, a dragon who was the only one who could take us back home?

Recommended pre-listen: New Beginnings Trilogy.

WARNING: Themes of rescue missions, human oppression, invasion, slavery, include war, hand-to-hand combat, violence, savagery, in an alternate history. This narrator is so engaging, I’m impressed with how it ended. The book start slow and then build layer upon layer until the battle with Atlas and the things they say, especially Draxton is so funny.
Well, done, this was highly entertaining and I’m high with the fantastic ending. Obviously I’m going to crash hard after this, lol. Please keep writing I’m so in love with these characters.

Stunning ending

What a whirlwind. This picks up right where Draxton's book ends. He and Kellan are torn between wanting to go home and helping Ouro and his people stop the Zelk. But the only way to truly get home is getting the laser drill to free Atlas from the mountain. To do that, Draxton and Kellan must face impossible odds and their growing feelings for each other. It was fascinating learning more about Draxton's mind and how it worked. Kellan becomes fiercely protective of Draxton, even when he tries to push him into the arms of another man. And don't get me started on that, lol. Zaidon was an interesting character. I honestly felt bad for him at one point. After Atlas gets freed, the war with the Zelk heats up. Wow that was crazy. There were a lot of exciting twists and turns, plus a couple of beloved characters returned to help save the day. My mind is still pretty blown after listening to this. Kashel Char's imagination is truly remarkable. I have no idea how they came up with such an amazing world and characters. Speaking of which, Jonathan Waters did an incredible job voicing these characters. He brought the story to life with his talented ability of giving each character a unique accent or dialect.

Amazing!

Part 2 of book 1 in the Children of Anzulla by the ineffable Kashel Char. I sit here tongue tied, maybe brain tied, or in this case I guess it's more finger tied, trying to describe how amazing I find this author's work. Kashel is a true wordsmith who keeps me on my toes and the edge of my seat. Keeping track of the timeline in this world is a full-time job... I'm just glad it's not "MY" full-time job!!! As stated in my review for part 1, Jonathan Winters did a fantastic job with the narration of this book as well as all the books that Kashel has created.

This is the exciting conclusion to Kellan and Draxton's story. We start out right where we left off in part one of this two-part story. I'm still in love with both of these characters, they just fit!!! Don't worry I'm sure that Kashel will have them show up again so don't despair. Seems like everyone shows up between the stories and timelines. It was fun and exciting to see Eryn and Ishtar riding in on the big Golden egg.

Can't wait to see what Kashel has in store for us next!!!

"This reality was a realm of endless danger and possibilities, and the very unpredictability of it, intensified my emotions."
