Bitter truth!!!
I originally listened to Keri 1 and was horrified to the levels of abuse she endured. When I saw there was a Keri 2 I had to purchase to finish out the story! If you're are searching for a story about a young girl making her way through life surrounded by incompetent/abusive adults, this is it!

So well written I was emotionally Invested.

I’m totally hooked!
Truly amazing story. This happen all the time and still does to this very day. So unnecessary and could have been stopped had people who where trained actually done their job and had the child bests internet at heart.

Can’t stop listening
I can’t stop listening to Kat Wards series about herself, her tragic upbringing and early life. The book is very descriptive and thoroughly written and I’m horrified how much sorrow and hardships one child has been forced to endure. The second book describes how Keri is taken to a children’s home where abuse continues although in another form. Keri meets two other girls who becomes her friends and tries several times to run away and succeeds on one occasion, where she starts up a new life away from her family but her longing for her grandmother brings her to hitchhike back and was caught and again brought to the children’s home she once run away from. Best book I’ve listened to in a very long time.

This makes for compelling listening.
If I miss a bit I absolutely have to go back because I already love keri so much from the first book. At every stage I find I am rooting for the girl....go keri
