Cute Holiday Read

I enjoyed this cute holiday read, covering both Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is my first time meeting these characters, yet I was still able to read and enjoy this as a standalone, though I probably would have enjoyed the inside jokes more if I read the story of how they got together first. The narration was okay. Some of the voices and accents were great, and others drove me crazy (including one of the main characters). Listening to this on 1.2-1.3 speed helped, and I still enjoyed the story. If you’re looking for a light-hearted, low angst (aside from struggling to figure out the perfect first Christmas gift), then I highly recommend giving this a try.

Loved it

I loved this story. Guy Veryzer's voice really brings this story to life. Kai and Rory have been together a few months. The Holidays are approaching. Neither of them has had a boyfriend during the holiday season before. They want to make it special for each other and let the other know how much they love each other.

Rory and Kai are preparing for their first Christmas together meanwhile meeting the families at Thanksgiving.
They spent time with the family and friends while enjoying their time together.
They are both impressed by their gifts, and the thoughtfulness behind them.
I enjoyed how the narrator added his brand of magic.

Short and sweet

The narrator was incredible. I listen at fast speed, but it was super clear and easy to follow, and I loved it! The accents and different voices for each character were spot on, and it was really enjoyable. It is a tooth achingly sweet story, so I recommend brushing your teeth afterwards if you don’t want cavities, but it’s very well written and narrated, very much worth a listen.

Rocktoberfest Holiday!

So happy that this holiday with Rory and Kai got an audible. It was fun to have Guy Veryzer put a personality in narration of these guys. In Faded Dreams we know this was about a Rockstar falling in love with one his fans and it was lovely to see how simple and sweet their relationship has continued to be.
