Another wonderful addition to an incredible series

Portuguese puma shifter assassin brothers? Now, that's just totally badass! In Susi Hawke's 'Jump Up, Assassin's Claws Book 4', the Moreno brothers are tasked with killing the leader of the rebel group called Open Eyes. The group's objective is to tell the human world that shifters exist and a video they produced depicting the transformation of three kinds of shifters had been intercepted before it could be transmitted worldwide. The brothers need to move fast after they discover Open Eyes are planning yet another shifter reveal--they have in their captivity a pregnant omega and are photo-documenting his pregnancy for the purpose of scaring the world's population of human beings. In addition to assassinating the leader, they are also tasked with rescuing the pregnant omega who was another victim of an arranged and loveless marriage. In the midst of the rescue mission, Nash Moreno discovers that the pregnant omega leopard shifter is his destined mate. If ever there was the incentive to kill the leader of Open Eyes, it is the realization that his mate Isaac had been sexually abused, underfed, poorly clothed, and forced to sleep in a cold room. I shed many tears about gentle, sweet Isaac but was glad that the writer depicted him as an omega with inner strength and the capacity for hope and love. What a joy it was to know that the Moreno family grows by the addition of two shifters but not as big as the thrill when Isaac's cruel 'husband' gets brutally killed. I cheered like a fan at a football game at that development! Susi Hawke provides readers with the ability to check in with the couples from the previous books within the narrative of the current story. She also encourages her readers to stay invested in the series as the overall threat that spans all the books is resolved in definitive stages within each individual story. The writer's world-building is wonderful as ever and the character development is absolutely awesome both within the books and throughout the entire series.

Fantastic

This was the story I loved the most I have laughed so much my husband kicked me out. This series is fantastic I highly recommend it.

Funny listen!

I just love this series so much and this story is mo different. I love Nash and Isaac! These two are so perfect for each. I just love being back with the Moreno clan and them finding their mates in unexpected times. Thrn Zane Daniels did an amazing job with bring this story to life. I just love listening to this short and funny story.

Short and Sassy

This one kind of feels more like a filler until we get to the next but it's still a fun story and Daniels made it an entertaining listen. If your a fan of the series you'll love it.

sooo funny!!

I seriously love this series!! Nash and Issac were so perfect for each other! Zane Daniels did a fantastic job with the narrative, his accents were sooo good, each fairly distinct.

A Great Book

This is the fourth book in The Assassin’s Claw Series. You will want to read the previous books first to get the fullest enjoyment out of this book. A great book the writing was good. I love this series and author. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters enjoyable. The characters were developed and thought out. Isaac and Nash are the MC’s of this book and mates. The narration was good and not monotone. I can recommend this book as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

The voice of the narrator though!

I couldn’t get enough of this story but mostly because the narrator had my full and undivided attention. Thank you Susi for picking him! The narrator did the characters justice and his voice was lovely to my ears.

His unexpected mate

When a new mission presents itself, the Moreno brother's jump at it as it involves a vulnerable omega and a threat to all of shifter kind.
When said mission leads Nash to unexpectedly finding his mate, he knows its up to him to help his omega feel loved, safe and cared for.

This story was more on the shorter side and was a quick listen.
I enjoyed seeing the family rally around the couple and Nash loving on his mate.

The narrarion was done well and kept one engaged in the story.

True love is earned

I have said this again and again but let me say this again, when it comes to shifter ABO stories, Susi Hawke can do no wrong for sure. I have loved previous Assassin books in the series and this book is no exception. Just like in the blurb, there are killer cars, ninja bunnies and assassin alphas who are working hard to achieve omega rights for all those helpless omegas.

Mash never thought he would find his true mate when he’s supposed to stop the nefarious means of secret organization Open Eyes. He has to help and rescue the scapegoat of bad guys while trying to protect and making Issac that he’s not one of those toxic macho alphas he has met for all his life. My heart truly breaks for Issac and what he has faced so far but our lovely omega is just so brave and tenacious. I loved it! I especially loved we get to see ninja bunnies here again! So funny! I like that every book in this series is short, hilarious and a nice blend of angst, romance and a bit of feminism. If you are looking for a quick pick-me-up, look no further, this is the right series for you.
