An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it inspiring. Another month and another woman in need of recharging. The death of her daughter almost crushes Margo, for her remaining family and grandkids she forces herself on. Time and therapy are helping, but she still can't open the gift her daughter left her. It's a great story that will inspire you not only go for your dreams, but shows you that it's never too late to restart your life. The author has a special talent to create characters and stories that feel real and the narrator brings every story to life. Looking forward to August.

Great Read

July (The Year of Discovery Book Seven) was a great read by M.L. Hamilton. Margot has known a lot of loss in her life, first her husband died and then one of her daughters. She has tried to do everything to accept what life has thrown her way but when her daughter died she has had a hard time of accepting things. She doesn’t plan on ever finding love again until Jack looks to change her mind. He wants her to take a chance but she doesn’t know if she can. I loved reading Margot and Jack’s story and can’t wait to read more by M.L. Hamilton. Kelley Hazen did a great job of narrating the characters and bringing life to them.

July - Margot’s story

The year of discovery continues... this is Margot’s story. As the matriarch of the family, she is still dealing with the death of her daughter, but life must go on.

I am totally mesmerized by this series. M. L. Hamilton has done a marvelous job of coming up with unique, stand alone stories that deal with very emotional topics, while still weaving in the characters from the other books. I feel so connected to each and every one of the characters.

Kelley Hazen delivers another professional performance. She has an amazing ability to not only voice a variety of characters, but she keeps things consistent across all the books in the series. I’m already looking forward to the next book!

Margo

I’m totally enjoying this Year of Discovery Series and this is book 7. The primary character in this book Margo Yates who has suffered losses of her husband years ago and recent of her daughter Meredith from CA and is depressed and not living fully. Her daughter Maddie moved and opened business of her dreams while her daughter Mika is deeply troubled in a bad relationship with this Dallas. Do enjoy the book brings in many of the characters from previous books such as Dr Saito, her grandchildren Carly and Sammy, their father Henry, Mel, Lizzie, and Jack Davis to name a few. It is a truly inspiring series with great narration. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank You!

No one says 'gross' anymore.

This episode of looking at the lives of various women connected by the death of one woman, Meredith, turns it's sights on her 60 something mother, Margot. Widowed 26 years before, the pain of the loss of her husband returns full force with her daughter's death from breast cancer. It also features Margot's youngest daughter, Michah.
Once again read by the woman of a thousand voices, Kelley Hazen, with warmth and emotion.

Each story stands alone. A good series, full of sensitivity and thoughtful hope, and this book is no exception
