How could anyone not love Julie Andrews!!?

I listen to this book often at night to put me to sleep. Her vice is so soothing. nice choice of poems also.

Julie Andrews and her daughter Emma have compiled a good list of poems that I've never heard and some of which are written by themselves or family members. This is an enjoyable listen. Need something to calm down? Something soothing for your kids to listen to right before bed? I imagine that this fits the bill.

Wonderful poetry, Beautifully read

This is one our treasured favorites! My children and I have listened to this off and on for the last few years. They really are just wonderful! And Julie Andrew’s and her daughter Emma Thompson do a wonderful job reading them! I’d absolutely buy a Volume 2 if it existed. My only complaint is that the chapters are numbered in audible instead of labeled with the name of each poem. To make up for this we made a labeled bookmark/clip in audible of our favorites for a little easier referencing.

A Lovely Collection and Enjoyable Listening

Lovely poetry read by Julie Andrews Edwards and her own daughter. I purchased this to share with my grandchildren. It is soothing background for them now but hopefully they will enjoy it as they get older.

I knew several of the selections while others were totally new, including some written by the narrators. The selections were organized in nice themed groups including humor and nature. I really enjoyed the readings by mother and daughter.
