Publisher's Summary

Three thrilling titles from one of America's most popular best-selling authors, together in a special value collection.

A Time to Kill - For 10 days, with burning crosses and the crack of sniper fire spreading through the streets of Clanton, the nation sits spellbound as young defense attorney Jake Brigance struggles to save his client's life...and then his own....

The Firm - When Mitch McDeere, an ambitious law student from Harvard, chooses the Memphis tax firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke, he finds himself caught between the FBI, who wants an informant inside the firm, and the firm itself, which will make him a very rich man - or a very dead one.

The Client - This is the story of 11-year-old Mark Sway, who witnessed the bizarre suicide of a New Orleans attorney. Just before he dies, the lawyer tells Mark a deadly secret concerning the recent murder of a Louisiana senator whose accused killer, Mafia thug Barry Muldanno, is about to go to trial.

This is an abridged version

The title and description did not mention that all 3 books have been edited to a quarter of their original length

Recording is muffled

Love the stories however if you’re listening in an environment with any background noise you won’t be able to hear it completely. The narrators whisper at times and even at max volume I was unable to hear it. It’s almost like it’s a recording of a recording.

Great 3 stories

I loved these 3 Grisham books. I would've given 5 stars but sometimes the two voices being read were 2 different volumes, so couldn't hear one, then too loud on the other. Otherwise fun to listen to, kept me wondering entire time.

Abridged

grossly abridged without indication, the narrator is great. the book lacks so much detail I could not even bring myself to finish, and had to spend money on the original due to this mistake.

Poor quality.

Stories are classics. The quality of the audio is terrible. It's very hard to hear even at full volume. At random times during the story there is loud music playing over the narration that is very distracting. DONT BUY THIS VERSION. Just buy the regular books individually.

Classic Grisham

I listen to a trio, “a time to kill”, the client, and the firm and each one was perfect, old-school, but perfect.
