The young lovers don’t know it, but their fate depends on the two lonely old men, relics of a bygone era, who will stop at nothing to save their city.

Blending Shakespearean comedy with Andrey Kurkov's unique brand of black humor and vodka-fueled magic realism, Jimi Hendrix Live in Lviv, is a postcard from a more optimistic era. It was not as existential as his other book that I recommend all of the

Charming quirky story

I enjoyed listening to this quirky story set in the City of Lviv with its windy cobble stoned streets that survived several empires. The story is set in 2012 Ukraine. There are several interweaving storylines, characters experiencing improbable events, and Jimi Hendrix music playing in the background. This was my first Kurkov novel, I look forward to more books by this author
