Not the best

Book V I found not as fast moving as previous books. Orator was as great before.

Good but first 4 were better

What does Braden Wright bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Braden Wright did a great narration as with previous Jet books.

Any additional comments?

This was a good book but not my favorite in the series. The previous 4 books all developed the character of Jet much more and had her and who ever she was involved with front and center. In this book there are more underdeveloped antagonists and I'm not sure if it was me or the book but I found myself rewinding and relistening. There seemed to be more jumping around and although Jet saves the world her character seems to be downplayed. Her "friend" Matt is off to other parts being stalked by who knows who, I don't think there was resolution to his conflicts. This book moved right along and having listened to the previous four books I did have relationships down but would have been totally lost otherwise. Good series but hoping that Jet VI will be up to the standards I expect from Russell Blake.

Author Russell Blake knows how to build suspense!

Ex-Mossad agent JET only wants peace and freedom to raise her daughter in a normal world, but that is interrupted again as Mossad requests that she find and disarm a nuclear bomb. As usual in the JET series the suspense is intense and sustained. Braden Wright's narration is superb. JET V and the entire series are VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Getting worse with each new book

I really enjoyed the first and second Jet books and started to loose interest in the story as the plot got weaker and weaker in books three and four. I had hoped that Russel Blake's Jet series would improve with book 5 - Sadly, it was wishful thinking! Book five, in my opinion, is the worse so far. Beside being predictable at EVERY turn, Jet is becoming a little princess and I found myself rooting for the bad guys.

Action packed

This is the 5th book in the Jet series and they must be read in order. Jet is being pulled back into the Mossad. Somali Pirates hijacked an American freighter. They move the loot on shore where a suitcase nuclear device goes off and kills them. Then it is discovered there is another suitcase nuclear device out there. The Arab League is meeting in Qatar. A group called the Council says they have the suitcase bomb and will blow up the League. The Council is a radical group of Israeli who think the current government is not forceful enough with the enemies of Israel. Jet and a team from the Mossad are called in to find the bomb.

The book is well written. The pace is fast and the action is non-stop. This book is a bit different from the prior four books. The story has lots of political intrigue. The plot twist and turns in a global setting as Jet goes from Israel to Libya, Tunisia, back to Israel and then off again. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Braden Wright does a good job narrating the book. Wright is an actor, voice-over artist and an audiobook narrator.
