Sept. 4, at 9:47 A.M. searchers found a naked body floating in the Illinois River near the Illinois Route 251 Bridge. On Sept. 7, the LaSalle County coroner said an autopsy revealed the body recovered belonged to a man but said "due to condition" of the body identification would take "several weeks to possibly months".
Jelani Day was reported missing by his mother Camren Bolden Day and his college professor on August 24th, 2021. Could the body found be her son?
