Inside, you'll find my reasoning for why Javascript is a great programming language to start out with and how easy it really is to write your first lines of code today.

Not at all what I expected

This book was more about web technologies than Javascript, specifically. If you are a complete novice to how the web works then this book offers a handy explanation.
