Well done!

This is a well written little Java book. It goes into detail about the background and history of Java, and follows up by explaining some of the functions of Java and how to use them. The author provides a step-by-step guide at the end to build a simple program. There's plenty for beginners here, but not enough to overwhelm them with information. Well done!

Not meant for Auible

This book was not meant for Audible. The presenter reads each programming statement character after character. Pick up the paper copy or the Kindle Version and it is probably just fine.
