Publisher's summary

He was broken by the war. Her secret could destroy her family.

Ex-marine sniper Jared River left the war, but the war never really left him. He's a broken wolf who's good for only one thing now - killing men. And he's peering down his scope at Senator Krepky, the antishifter politician about to ruin the lives of all the shifters Jared loves.

Grace Krepky is the daughter of the senator, a good girl with a passion for her father's politics and who's earned her way into being his campaign manager. Only problem? She's secretly a shifter...and the clock is ticking until her own father inadvertently forces that secret into the open, ruining both their lives.

Jared's all set to pull the trigger when he sees something shocking through the senator's glass walls: His daughter is a wolf. Jared puts his gun aside to go after the fleeing girl, but he already knows this can end in only one of two ways - either he'll convince her to reveal herself to the senator and stop his antishifter legislation, or Jared will have to assassinate her father.

If only she wasn't making him come alive again....

Jared is a complete novel with HEA, the third in the River Pack Wolves trilogy (all stand-alone stories but best enjoyed if you listen to them in order!).

Contains scorching-hot shifters, alpha military heroes, and dark family secrets. Only listeners over 18 should dive into the deliciously hot world of the River brothers.

After the River brothers, check out the Wilding Pack Wolves series!

A grand, emotional performance!

Both of the performers have truly performed this book like they are onstage! Emotions that match their words and talented voice changes for different characters brings the gripping plot to life. A different twist in shifter themes that adds political activism and coming out.

Series Review

This entire series has been a really exciting adventure! These three authors and narrators did not make any of the stories boring. There were no confusing of facts across the three story lines, nor with where each story segmented with each other. Totally refreshing! I loved where the end of these stories came together as also a continuing. Anticipating the next series!!

Good Book, Over the Top Male Narration

I had a REALLY hard time with the male narration. Way to dramatic in my opinion.

NOT FINISHED!

The first three books were great.
But the ending to the third one leaves us hanging.
Are there going to be more or are you going to finish out the trilogy?
If not, I would tell readers considering these books to don't bother.
The final book leaves more questions than answers.
Too bad, I thought they were great books.
Not finished though.

Luved IT!

Enjoyed reading this entire series about the 3 River brothers. Lots of wolf/human action, intrigue and romance all the ingredients that made a good paranormal romance an excellent read.

One tortured soul, one lost soul both finding and helping each other as they come to realize they need and want each other and together can protect each other and all they care about almost.

From the darkness to Light

Jared was so freaking loveable and sweet. He fought a tough internal battle that some snipers would feel about killing. TBH I dont think that his 'First Mate' was honestly his mate. Dont wanna say more but give it a listen and see what I'm saying. Any PNR fan will catch on when he describes what happened between him and his 'First mate'. IJS

worth the listen

Not the strongest entry in the series

This has been my least favorite so far of the series. Grace seemed pretty boring until the very end, though I did like the choice she made at the end. But what really grated was the narrators. The female narrator was so flat and monotonous that I actually switched to the Kindle version so I didn't have to listen to her. The male narrator was better when he really got into it, but most of the time he had weird pauses and strange intonations that made me roll my eyes and made it hard to like the character. This book was much better read than listened to.
