Narration hard to tolerate

Always loved this story. Think I would have preferred if it were narrated by various persons posting the different characters. But I still loved it!

Excellent reader!

I love this book and the reader does an excellent job communicating the characters effectively through a wide range of accents and voices. The story itself is evocative, poignant, has the perfect balance of realism and romanticism, and wraps it in an affective theological/religious perspective with an overtone of appropriate social commentary.
