I love the story BUT cannot listen to readers

This is a wonderful story and I have read or listened so many times, it is almost committed to memory but I can't listen to the narrators in this case. I endured most of Emma by one of the same readers and finally had to exit altogether. I'm returning it too.

poorly put together

Although the narrators voices are simply not for me, I think this is just personal preference as others may actually enjoy the narrators voices, tones, and reading styles, but I simply do not. That is really not the problem for this collection, the books are scattered and it is almost impossible to jump from one book to the next or vice versa.

I wish I could delete this.

What on earth!!?

This is a bargain, but they don’t make it easy. It’s impossible to find the start of each book as the organisation of about 9 books into 6 parts is an utter mess.
I gave up listening to the first narration, robotic and grating. Save your credits for the other versions of Jane Austin books.

Ghastly!

On dear, oh dear, oh dear!

This is horrible. Flat, expressionless narration. And, sorry, but Jane Austen just does not sound right with an American accent.

And yet again with Austen's works, this has been just thrown together. I previously had a seven part reading where the seven novels were randomly strewn among them. I got a refund and hoped this one might have been put together with a little more thought and consideration.
So, part one begins with Emma, the fourth of the six major novels. But where does it end? Where does Sense and Sensibility or Pride and Prejudice begin and end?

Audible what is your problem? Once again, seven parts, seven books - just put one book per part WITH AN INDEX!!! An index is needed for all multi book narrations.

As I said, I had, then returned a similar ( but better narrated) seven part reading of the Austen novels. I have a similar issue with the Stephen Fry narration of the Sherlock Holmes. So again this will be returned and again I will ask why cannot Audible think and get this right?
