This is the story of an orphan named Jake, who finds himself in a hot-air balloon with his friend, Milton the mouse. The wind carries them through many adventures, some very amusing and others quite dangerous. The adventures of Jake and Milton originated as bedtime stories, which the author told his son. This book continues the adventures, and were finally written down as advised by his son Miles. The author hopes the stories will be passed to Miles' children and friends one day.
