Done very respectfully. A great tribute to JFK Jr., Carolyn, and Lauren. I really enjoyed learning about them.

Great read

Great read. I remember JFK Jr. but I was just a kid when the accident occurred. It was great to learn more about the man.

Raw, Honest Memories

I love the idea of an oral history about JFK, Jr. The breadth of people who knew John throughout his short life from different points/stages of his life created a full picture of the man.

This oral history made me quite emotional, but for the first time, I got a complete picture of someone who was more than just a little boy who saluted his father's casket. He was more than just the president's son. He was a whole person. I highly recommend this read.

His wild life being a perfect person

Of course, I loved it. I remember that horrible weekend and then the week after. I would love to hear or read Sen Ted Kennedy’s eulogy given at The Funeral for nephew, nephew’s wife and wife’s sister.Embodied all so effectively. Well done!

Very interesting much more than John Jr. lots of friends and intimate stories from all sorts of people. And we don’t think we have a cast system in our wonderful country? Think again. Great book very different but well done. I did not think I would enjoy it but I could not put it down.

Loved the honestness of this book!

I loved this book! I had so many emotions I giggled, I felt sadness, I wanted to hug him all wrapped in one. After listening to this I felt like I really knew him as a person and now more than ever feeling the loss of an amazing person. Thank you to his friends and family for giving us this most precious gift. I couldn’t stop listening.

Everything stood Out

Missing them … True. I remember thinking ~ At Least we Have Someone, With That Name - Still Walking Around, on this Earth! Then, We heard the news.

A Life Interrupted Far Too Soon

I really enjoyed this book. I have wondered many times what kind of person he really was and from the different views herein I wasn't a bit surprised. He sounded exactly like what I imagined him to be.

I also wasn't surprised at his love for flying. When you are one of the most recognized persons on the planet it must be almost claustrophobic and being up in the air free sounds like a fine remedy to me.

He had an awesome burden given his birthright but at least a part of him seemed very down to earth and extremely likeable.

I have a feeling he would have gone far in the political world. I can picture people voting for him simply because of who he was; whether that's good or bad we'll never know. I always sensed that he cared a lot about the human condition.

As one of many I was so sad at how his life ended so abruptly and at such a young age. I adored him.

I also listened to Rosemarie Terenzio's other book about him and enjoyed it immensely.

I don't know enough about his wife to make any comments about her but the triple tragedy was just awful.

John is certainly missed.

Outstanding

I’m not even through with this book but the people who talk about him are so varied from every aspect of his life! Some from the oral histories at the JFK library some are just personal memories! It is extraordinary! They touch on aspects of his life that never have been talked about before. It shows that John became what he strove to be a good man!
