Great for car rides

I have tried a number of Italian audiobooks and in my opinion this is one of the best ones to really start to train your ear. The book will read you the short story in a nice clear voice. It will then summarize the story in Italian and then summarize it in English. And then gives you a long list of vocabulary words which it will repeat a couple of times and then into the chapter with a brief quiz of the material. I feel like this audiobook has really helped increase my vocabulary and also my ability to hear the language and start to pick out the words and phrases that I can understand.

Great way to learn for beginners!

I really enjoyed the stories in this book, and found that by listening to them over and over, I began to more easily pick out words and phrases to strengthen my (admittedly weak) Italian. Such a great idea!

Effective way to learn

I like the process of hearing a story, reviewing the vocabulary and grasping the context . Eagerly awaiting the next book!
