Fortunately, while on the white sandy beaches of Southwest Florida, Serina discovers that all is not what it seems if you just open yourself up to fate.

Simple sweet clean 👍

I found Serina to be sweet, strong, determined, and independent. She loved her grandmother. This was a super-quick romance that was light and entertaining. Serina had no idea what was awaiting her on her new chance in a new city. She was willing to make the best of what her situation left her in. She did just that and was rewarded well.

Grandparents sometimes know more and sometimes they just remember. These two had a simple childhood connection. Twenty plus years later they connect again on a grandmother’s setup. Elizabeth made it all feel like more.

Elizabeth Klett's voice felt like a match for the story from beginning to the end. She was on point with male and female voice. It was a respite from the day.

It might be you

I don’t really read a lot of short stories so It Might Be You was a nice change for me. It’s the perfect book to read in one sitting.

Sometimes, I feel like short stories don’t really flow which is probably why I’m not really a big reader of them as a general rule. I was so happy that It Might Be You didn’t feel like this. Tara September has done a wonderful job of creating a story where lots of things happen in a short of space but the pacing of the story never feels rushed. Tara created the perfect blend of plot, dialogue, thoughts and description in It Might Be You.

It was a light and fun read with interesting and three-dimensional characters. I particularly loved the card playing older women in the story and their opening scene in the story which helped to set up the rest of the plot.

If you’re like me and spend a lot of time reading heavy or long books, I would definitely recommend It Might Be You as a really fun, light romantic read to help bring some joy and a smile to your day!

My Thoughts on Elizabeth Klett
Elizabeth Klett is a really enjoyable narrator to listen to. She narrates such a wide range of audiobooks and I know that when I see her name attached to an audiobook, I will most certainly enjoy the narration.

Elizabeth has such an expressive voice and is just a joy to listen to.

If you haven’t listened to any of her narrations before, I would highly recommend listening to It Might Be You and then checking out her extensive list of titles she has narrated.

You knew from the beginning

Even though you knew from the beginning (predictable, yes, but worth the listen) it was intriguing to hear how the story came together. A short but worthy listen.

Small town romance!

I love a good small town romance, and this one was just long enough for my walk! Tara September writes wonderful, romantic novels and this short story just shows her talent. After Serina's relationship ended, she realized she wanted to get away from the fast paced life of Manhattan. Moving in with her grandmother seemed like a great solution. Back to her roots, a slower pace where she can make a difference and flourish in her career, she was ready to start her new life. Then the fun begins! Who better than to set you up on a blind date than your grandmother? I can tell you, if she finds a Grayson for every Serina, it's well worth the blind date! Romance is in the air and it's sweet and charming! I can't wait to delve into the next romantic beach read!

Elizabeth Klett is a fantastic narrator, I always love her performances, and this one is no exception. She brings all the characters to life, from the grandmother and her friends to Serina to Grayson. Each one distinct and spot on personalities. I loved this listen!

Loved this short story 💕

It might be you is a short story that I really enjoyed right from the start.
It’s about Serena: real estate seller, recently single and moved from Manhattan to Florida, living with her grandmother.
One of her grandmother’s friends arranges a blind date with her grandson “Junior”. Then life shows that you have to have faith in fate sometimes.

Tara September is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. I really loved every story she’s written so far.

It’s narrated by Elizabeth Klett, who did an excellent job!

Cute short story romance

Being a fan of Tara September’s other work, I was thrilled to snag this new release during Audible’s big sale last month. At just under an hour this was a quick low-angst listen. Entirely from Serina’s perspective, it’s an enjoyable “how they got together” closed door romance. (the spicy factor is a few internal musings and a single kiss toward the end) While this short story is not exactly a “meet cute” it had a lot of the traits I love about those.

Narration:
This was my first time listening to Elizabeth Klett and I thought she was the perfect fit for the story.

Grandma Arrange A Blind Date

This one was a sweet short story about a "new-in-town" real estate agent who's grandma fixes her up with the grandson of one of the other residents in the seniors development where she lives, with unexpected results.
Romantic, amusing and reaffirmingly romantic, it's a great, quick read for the beach, a rainy afternoon or before bed reading guaranteed to leave you with happily ever after dreams.
