Publisher's summary

God's faithfulness to Israel is an incredible affirmation of His unconditional goodness, and as we discover His heart for His chosen people, we better understand His heart for us. Israel's story begins with God's promise to make Abraham a great nation, and to this day, His hand continues to guide and protect the Jewish people.

Israel Always is a sweeping journey through Israel's prolific history, its modern-day influence, and its promised future, highlighting the continuous throughline of God's provision for His people. Bible scholar and Israel expert Christopher Katulka draws on relevant scriptures, careful research, and firsthand experience to illuminate why

- Israel plays such a central role in the Bible's narrative, as well as in Bible prophecy

- understanding Jewish culture and tradition enriches our understanding of Christianity

- the Jewish people continue to be a wrongly yet widely persecuted group

- lasting peace continues to be a challenge for the Middle East

Insightful and informative, Israel Always will enrich your understanding of the Bible, enhance your appreciation for Israel, and elevate your awareness of God's steadfast love for all His people—including you—today.

Thanks, Chris.

Take a guided tour of Israel with Chris Katulka. Learn about the people of Israel: the different blessings, struggles, and famous experiences of the people who are known worldwide as the Jewish people. The overall tone of the book is a positive and supportive look at the Jewish people, which one might expect from a writer who is part of the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, and a Christian Zionist, but neither does he fail to mention some shortcomings or spiritual needs of this ancient people. Even -handed and balanced were Mr. Katulka’s reports of the historical details. As a reader interested in Jewish outreach, I found the book enlightening and engaging. Most importantly, Chris Katulka tackles this project with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in mind. For it is this God, the God of the Bible, who set this people apart.

Should have known

When a Christian Zionist writes an Israel-centric book, it is bound to be problematic. No exception here. The author completely skips the facts of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, the illegality of the blockade of Gaza and the separation wall, Palestinians' loss of all freedoms, etc. He barely mentions the indigenous people who were driven out. This is just a "rah-rah for Israel" and travel guide for people who don't want to face the facts of apartheid and occupation.
